Following the great success of the previous Entre Camps Ulysseus European University will organize the fourth edition of Entre Camp, a 5 ECTS summer school, from 2nd to 6th of June 2025 at the University of Seville in Spain.

Entre Camp content

Entre Camp 2025, Smart Cities and Regions: Aiming for a multiple perspective is an intensive training program organised by Ulysseus European University. The camp is organized as a Blended Intensive Programme and it includes a virtual part which will be conducted online starting in April before travelling to Seville.
For five days, between June 2 and 6, 2025, 40 Master students from the Ulysseus alliance will be able to meet in Seville (Spain) and enjoy an academic offer of excellence coached by professional trainers from the Ulysseus Universities.

The camp is aimed to Master students from inter-disciplinary programs. The Entre Camp offers a unique opportunity for students to engage with some of the most pressing priorities shaping the future. It offers students an immersive experience in key global priorities while equipping them with future proof skills such as:

Digital transformation
Climate change
Inclusion and diversity
Entrepreneurship & knowledge transfer
Development of smart cities

Learning outcomes

Develop and strengthen students’ entrepreneurial mindset through agile processes, tools and methodologies such as Design Thinking
Design Thinking: learn how to use the Design Thinking process and tools
Challenge-based learning: work closely with organizations and companies on a challenge
It also seeks to improve critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and identifying business opportunities
Entrepreneurial mindset: strengthen entrepreneurial skills
Sustainable business: work towards sustainable solutions for the future
Intercultural teamwork: develop communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment

Timeline

April 2025: Online kick off meeting
May 2025: Deadline for the prework and learning agreement
June 2-6, 2025: Entre Camp in Seville
June 30: Deadline for students to submit their learner portfolio for evaluation
September 15: Deadline for evaluation of student learning

Application criteria and how to apply

Students will be selected based on academic achievement, progress in studies and a motivation letter.

Five students from Haaga-Helia will be chosen to participate, and expenses will be partially covered by Erasmus funding.

Ulysseus European University

Ulysseus European University is one of the 64 European University Alliances in Europe. Led by the University of Seville, Spain together with seven other universities: University of Genoa, Italy; Université Côte d’Azur, France; Technical University of Košice, Slovakia; MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®, Austria; and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Ulysseus will allow students, researchers and graduates to move freely between universities, carry out internships in companies and start high-impact research projects.

In late 2023 the alliance expanded to eight members as University of Münster (Germany) and University of Montenegro joined the alliance.
