Summer opening hours on campuses and services

Pasila Campus

The Pasila campus is open normally until June 6th on weekdays from 7:30 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm. During the summer weeks, the campus is open as follows:

• Week 24. 9 to 13 June open Mon–Fri 7:30–16, Sat 14 June 8–15
• Week 25: 16 to 19 June open Mon–Thu 7:30–16 pm, Fri–Sun 20–22 June closed
• Week 26
  • Mon 23 June 7:30–16
  • Tue–Thu 24–26 June 7:30–20
  • Fri 27 June 7:30–16
  • Sat 28 June closed
• Weeks 27–31: Mon-Fri 30.6.–1.8. 7.30–16, Saturdays closed
• Week 32: Mon-Fri 4.–8.8. 7.30–16, Sat 9.8. 8–15

Starting from Monday 11 August the Pasila campus will be open according to normal opening hours (weekdays 7:30–20:00 and Saturdays 8:00–15:00, closed on Sundays).

Student restaurant Pääraide

The Pääraide restaurant is open from 19 May to 13 June from 8:00 to 14:00, and lunch time is from 11:00 to 13:00. The restaurant is closed from 16 June to 3 August. Pääraide opens again on Monday 4 August.

Helia House Bistro Café

The bistro is open on 19 May 7.45–14, on 20 May 7.45–17, from 21 to 23 May 7.45–14 ja from 26 to 28 May 8–17.30. The bistro is closed from 29 May to 11 August.

Market 24/7 near the Bistro will be operational until 13 June. It is closed from 14 June to 11 August.

Haaga Campus

The Haaga Campus is open until 4 July normally (Mon–Fri 7.30–16.00). The campus is closed from 5 July to 3 August 2025. 

Haaga Restaurant Caffeli

Student restaurant Caffeli is open until 23 May. From 24 May to 10 August, the restaurant is closed. It will be open again from 11 August.

Malmi Campus

The property is open and closed in the summer as follows:

• 2.6.–18.6. 9–15

• Midsummer: 19.6. open 9–13, 20.6. closed

• 23.6.–27.6. 9–15

• 30.6.–3.8. closed

• 4.–.8.8. from 09:00 to 15:00

From 11 August, the Malmi campus will be open normally Mon–Thu from 07:30 to 17:00 and Fri from 07:30 to 15:00.

Malmi student restaurant Perhon Helmi

The café is open until 30 May Mon–Thu 8–14, closed from 2 June to 10 August and open from 11 August Mon–Fri 8–14.

Lunch is served until 28 May and again from 11 August from 10:30 to 13:00. No lunch 29.5.–10.8.2025

Porvoo Campus

The Porvoo campus is normally open until the end of May.

• 2.–13.6. open 8.00–15.00, except 5.6. from 08:00 to 20:00 (exam evening)

• 16.6.–1.8. closed

• 4.8.–8.8. open 8.00–15.00

From Monday 11 August, normal opening hours will be observed (Mon–Tue 7.30–20.00, Wed–Fri 7.30–18.00).

Restaurant

Lunch is still available on Wednesday 28 May. Lunch is served again from 11 August.

Vierumäki Campus

In Vierumäki, the buildings are usually open all summer. See Vierumäki's opening hours here.

Libraries

Haaga, Malmi and Vierumäki libraries will be closed from 9 June to 8 August. Porvoo Library is closed from 14 June to 3 August. If you need books from their collections for the summer, you should be on the move by the last opening day. When libraries are closed, you can't get books from them by transport. HH Finna's booking button is not in use from 11 June to 1 August.

The Pasila campus library serves a large part of the summer. Check library opening hours at HH Finna.

Study Services

The Study Services will be available in the summer from Monday 19 May by email and telephone. The telephone service is open in summer Tue 9–12, Wed 12–15 and Thu 9–12. Pasila Customer Service desk (2nd floor) is closed from 2 June to 7 July and is open again from 8 July Mon–Fri 9–15.

• The Study Services' face-to-face customer service on campuses is closed from 19 May to 10 August. N.B! Pasila's customer service desk is open normally from 8 July.
• The open UAS's telephone service will be closed from 7 to 14 July.
• The Study Services for Teacher Education will be closed from 19 June to 18 July. Students may contact the other Study Services if necessary. 

The Study Services' face-to-face customer service on campuses will be opened again on Mon 11 August. Face-to-face customer service on campuses and telephone service are open every weekday Mon–Fri 11.–22.8.

Admission Services

Admission Services are available by email and telephone in the summer. The telephone service is open until 10 July Mon-Tue and Thu-Fri 9–12 and Wed 12–15. The telephone service is open from 11 July to 15 August Tue 9–12, Wed 12–15 and Thu 9–12.

HelpDesk

HelpDesk serves on all weekdays by phone also in the summer. Face-to-face support is available at the Pasila campus throughout the summer. Local support is not available on the Porvoo, Malmi and Haaga campuses from 30 June to 1 August 2025.
