ENROLMENT FOR ATTENDANCE/NON-ATTENDANCE 2022 – 2023

Remeber to enrol for attendance/non-attendance for the next academic year. The enrolment for academic year 2022-2023 must be done by June 17, 2022. Read more here.

SECOND ENROLMENT AND ATTENDANCE

If you wish to add more courses to your study plan for the fall, you can enroll to implementations from June 13, 2022 onwards in the second enrolment if the implementations still have open places. Please remember to cancel your participation directly to the teacher in case you are not going to attend a course that you have enrolled to (and been accepted). This is important because if you do not cancel your participation you might block the course for another student who might have needed the credits.

• COM4HM007 Kriisiviestintä ja maineenhallinta, blended evening 22.8.-14.10.
  Olet ehkä huomannut, että kriisiosaamiselle on tarvetta enemmän kuin koskaan? Kriisiosaaminen on myös keskeinen elementti brändiviestinnässä ja sidosryhmäsuhteiden johtamisessa. On kyettävä ennakoimaan, valmistautumaan, reagoimaan ja johtamaan tehokkaasti ennen kriisiä, kriisin aikana ja sen jälkeen. Kurssin rakenne on looginen ja oppiminen tapahtuu osissa: jokaisen teoriaosuuden jälkeen opittua sovelletaan analysoimalla ajankohtaista kriisiä tai valittua organisaatiota joko itsenäisesti tai ryhmän kanssa. Lopuksi pääset testaamaan opittua kriisisimulaatioharjoituksessa.
   
• ENT4HM109 Developing a Viable Business, online evening 24.10.-16.12.
  Welcome to the Developing a Viable Business! In this course you will learn the necessary skills for a business opportunity's validation, which is, as an example, proven to be the number one reason for an early state startup's failure. This course will improve especially you practical skills in applying the Lean startup methodologies an equivalent tools. You will also learn how to sell your business (development) idea to stakeholders in a convincing way.
   
• ENT4HM108 Discovering Business Opportunities, online evening 22.8.-14.10. Welcome to the Discovering Business Opportunities! In this course you will learn the necessary skills required both for a business opportunity recognition and for the development a new business idea. This course offers you a unique opportunity to learn and apply the Design and Lean methodologies in practice. In addition, you will learn how to pitch/sell your business idea in a convincing way.

KEHITY KIERTOTALOUDEN KEHITTÄJÄKSI

Kiertotalouteen, vihreään liiketoimintaan siirtyminen on välttämätöntä ja se muuttaa jokaisen ammattilaisen työnkuvaa.
On kasvava tarve asiantuntijoille, jotka ymmärtävät kiertotaloutta ja voivat auttaa yrityksiä ilmasto- ja kiertotaloushaasteissa.
Ole mukana edelläkävijöiden joukossa ja opiskele alaa, jolla on merkitystä.
Kiertotalouden opintojaksoilla opit, kuinka rakennetaan kestävää hiilineutraalia tulevaisuutta.
Kiertotalouteen siirtyminen edellyttää uudelleen ajattelua sekä yritysten liiketoiminnan uudelleen rakentamista.

OSALLISTU KURSSILLE

• Kiertotalouden liiketoiminnan ja palveluiden kehittäminen (5 op) (24.10-16.12)
• Opintojaksolla kehitetään uusia kiertotalouden ja ilmastopositiivisen liiketoimintojen ratkaisuja vastuullista kasvua hakeville yrityksille.
• Opintojaksolla opit systemaattisen prosessin kiertotalouden liiketoiminnan/palvelujen kehittämiseen sekä miten asiakasymmärrystä hyödynnetään.
• Opintojaksolle voit tulla myös ilman aikaisempia kiertotalousopintoja.
• Opetus on Zoomissa/Teamsissa torstaisin klo 17:45-20.30

GRADUATES AND SCHOLARSHIPS

This spring we have a record of 219 graduates from the Master’s programmes. Seven Master graduates were awarded a scholarship. Haaga-Helia’s Master’s programmes grant scholarships twice a year for good success in studies and for excellent thesis. The criteria for the scholarships are good success in studies and the quality of the thesis (grade) and for the thesis scholarship how topical the thesis is as well as its societal effectiveness. Master’s programmes granted scholarships to the following master’s students:

MASTER THESIS & THESIS WORKSHOPS IN AUTUMN

Please remember, that Master Thesis should be commenced in the beginning of the second study year the latest. Please enroll to Applied Design Research course by the beginning of the second study year the latest. You should have a topic for your thesis when you enroll to the course. The instructions for writing a topic proposal can be found at Thesis, Master’s Degree page at “Thesis stage 1: Planning”

The Master Team is on summer leave in July, but we are available again from the first week of August onwards.
