HAAGA-HELIA’S STUDENTS RETURNED TO CONTACT TEACHING IN MANY PROGRAMMES ON FEB. 28

According to the official decision made already earlier in January Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences will strive to normalize its operations from Monday, February 28, 2022, when a considerable part of the teaching will be provided as contact teaching again. However, there may be course, degree program, and campus-specific variations in the form of teaching.
At Haaga-Helia, the health and safety of students and staff is the number one priority, which is why it follows the regulations and instructions of the authorities in all its decision-making.

SUMMER STUDIES AND CAMPUS ONLINE

The first enrolment for summer 2022 courses is open between 14.3.2022 at 8 a.m. - 24.3.2022 at 4 p.m. The second enrolment for summer courses will start on 13 April 2022 and closes on Friday prior to the start of the implementation i.e., first lesson. The detailed timetables will be published by February 28 on Lukkarikone (Timetable Machine) where you can see the course schedules by searching with the course code. Please note that you do not have to send your IPS for approval if enroll to summer courses. The individual study plan (IPS) will be updated again in April and your personal guidance counsellor will contact you about the updating process.

The CampusOnline.fi courses for the summer of 2022 were published on February 28, 2022, and the enrollment for the summer courses starts on March 14, 2022, at 8 a.m. As a Haaga-Helia student you can study CampusOnline courses for free. You can include Master level studies from CampusOnline to your degree’s free choice studies if they are suitable for the field of the degree. CampusOnline studies cannot be added to the IPS before they have been approved as credit transfers (credit transfer form in Peppi). The courses have to be assessed before applying for the credit transfer.

3AMK SUMMER SCHOOL FOR MASTER STUDENTS

3AMK Summer School is an intensive online course for Master´s degree students. The topic is ”Leadership Skills for a Changing World” and it is organized in August, 2022. Please read more here.

Haaga-Helia’s library organises two webinars on information retrieval and Mendeley reference manager on March 22. These webinars are held in Finnish.

CREDIT TRANSFER APPLICATIONS NOT HANDLED DURING FEBRUARY-MARCH

Are you going to apply for a credit transfer? We kindly ask you to apply for credit transfers again in April 2022. Credit transfer applications will not be handled during February and March. In urgent matters (i.e. if you are graduating and absolutely need the credit transfer during Feb-March), please contact your Guidance Counsellor. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

ZOOM-DISCUSSIONS ON BETTER SELF-KNOWLEDGE ON VARIOUS TOPICS (IN FINNISH)

Self-knowledge is useful at studies, at work as well as in other fields of life. The Zoom-discussions on wellbeing will start again in March. In these sessions e.g. the importance of self-knowledge, work engagement, emotional intelligence and courage are discussed.
