Haaga-Helia students organize the Viaporin Kekri Festival in the Fortress of Suomenlinna
The Viaporin Kekri Festival will be celebrated for the seventh time on Saturday 6 November 2021, on All Saints' Day in Finland.
Body
In Finnish folklore, Kekri has meant the end of the harvest season and has been celebrated with good food and drink.
The event is held at the Fortress of Suomenlinna, one of the World Heritage Sites, and is produced by the Bachelor of Hospitality Management students at Haaga-Helia. Entrepreneurs, associations, artists, as well as other performers will also be included at the event.
The program offers a lot of free things to see and experience for everyone.
