Ari Akseli to Haaga-Helia's chairman of the board

Ari Akseli started working for Kesko in 1995 and has been a member of Kesko's management team since 2017. He holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration.

– I will start in the new position with enthusiastic and collaborative expectations. Haaga-Helia is a widely respected university of applied sciences with professional staff and faculty. In my new role, I want to enable their success together with the rest of the board and executive management, says Ari Akseli.

The new Chairman of the Board looks confidently to Haaga-Helia's future.

– I believe that Haaga-Helia has a bright future ahead of it. The new strategy period will enable many new openings. The strategy choices made are relevant and systematic cooperation enables their implementation. As a university of applied sciences for working life, Haaga-Helia has its own stable place in the Finnish education system, Akseli says.
