The three-year project will bring together the activities of these three large UAS’s Entrepreneurship Societies. In addition to the City of Helsinki, the City of Espoo and Vantaa have also invested in the total funding, which is 740,000 euros in total.

The project is aiming to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of Entrepreneurship Society’s activities. 3AMK Entrepreneurship Society Alliance will raise awareness about entrepreneurship among students and seeks to find new ways of entrepreneurship.

- The student-lead entrepreneurship societies have very different opportunities to encourage student entrepreneurship compared to universities, says Mikko Järvinen, the project director. The project has great expectations regarding the student organisations' participation.

The collaboration between the entrepreneurship societies from three different UAS enables students to work in multidisciplinary networks, which would not be possible otherwise. The project is beneficial for both students and the businesses in Helsinki metropolitan area.

3AMK ES organises events, lectures, excursion and workshops. Most of the events are open for all, not only for UAS students. The project continues until 2022 and it is coordinated by Haaga-Helia StartUp School.
