This event is strongly recommended to those new international students who have not previously lived in Finland. Welcome to Finland is not part of the compulsory orientation.

Day 1: Wednesday 7th January 2026 at 10:00 – 17:00 (room 3011)
10:00 Welcome to study in the International Business degree programme by Degree Director Anna Hankimaa, Study Advisor Anu Peiponen and Guidance Counsellor Anne Simpson
10:30 Activities with INTBBA student tutors, incl. campus tour and lunch (campus lunch €2,95)
13:30 Introduction to the INTBBA degree programme
15:30 Mandatory workshop for those who wish to transfer credits from prior higher education studies.
If you have studied at higher education (=bachelor or master level university or university of applied sciences level in Finland or abroad), please bring a laptop and your transcripts and course descriptions for previously completed studies.
