Orientation is mandatory for all students: new entrants, SAT students, Haaga-Helia UAS open path students and transfer students.
During the orientation days you will
- be introduced to Haaga-Helia UAS and the IB (INTBBA) degree programme.
- activate your Haaga-Helia accounts.
- learn how to prepare your personal study plan (PSP) in Peppi.
- enrol for courses.
If you have relevant prior higher education studies (no more than 10 years old), please send your guidance counsellor ([email protected]) a list of the courses (course name, number of credits and the name of the institution they have been completed in) and their content descriptions so that she can check if your previous studies could replace some Haaga-Helia courses or be included into your Haaga-Helia degree as such.
Checking previous studies takes time; to make course enrolment in August as smooth as possible, please send the information to your guidance counsellor as soon as possible.
Are you a new international degree student who is moving to Finland to start your studies at Haaga-Helia? If so, you are most welcome to the Welcome to Finland event on 11.08.2025 at 10:00-15:30, at Pasila Campus, room 1001.

Bring your transcripts and course descriptions (can be in digital form) from prior higher education studies (university of applied sciences or university level – not high school) with you to this session.
