
Haaga-Helia Kickstart 2023 - recreation and networking day for new students in Vierumäki

Haaga-Helia Kickstart 2023 - a recreation and networking day for new students will be organised in Vierumäki on 5th September 2023.
New full-time degree students and exchange students starting in January and August 2023 will be invited. The event is a compulsory part of the orientation and is free of charge for students. Haaga-Helia arranges transport from the campuses and provides lunch at Vierumäki.
Registration for the event
Please register for the event via the link, that you will receive by email in August. Registration must be done no later than 28th August to organise bus transport and catering.
Programme and activities
There is a wide range of activities around Vierumäki campus area. You can have a good time in Flowpark, Volttiareena, padel tournament or archery. Or you can paddle, go to a sauna, or take part in a beachvolley tournament. There's something for everyone!
All activities are free of charge except Flowpark. The price of Flowpark is 12 €/person.

Tournaments
There is pre-registration for the tournaments. You will receive instructions in the invitation email in August.
In beachvolley, there are 5–8 players per team. The games are played 5 against 5. There are two tournaments of which one begins before noon and one in the afternoon. Maximum of 8 teams per tournament. In beachvolley, teams are chosen to participate in order of registration with at least one team spot reserved for each campus.
In padel, the team size is 2 persons per team. The games are played 2 against 2. There are two tournaments of which one begins before noon and one in the afternoon. Maximum of 8 teams per tournament. In padel teams are chosen to participate in order of registration with at least one team spot reserved for each campus.
