Annica Isacsson works as a Research Manager at the School of Vocational Teacher Education at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. She is also responsible for the vocational pedagogy research area at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and has acted in about 15 RDI projects as a Project Manager and/or researcher.
Annica Isacsson has participated in education export, in among other countries, Tunisia and Lebanon. Isacsson holds a PhD (economics) in organizational research. She has good knowledge of different research instruments and she has published more than 30 scientific and professional articles.
Dr Isacsson has acted as evaluator at the European Commission and at Kulturfonden, and as Senior Researcher at UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning. She has acted as chair of a Nordic research network on vocational education and training (Nordyrk), and as board member in the Finnish Vocational Educational Research Association (Ottu ry), in addition to organized international academic conferences (e.g. Encounters 2014 and Nordyrk 2015), and enhanced Nordic collaboration (e.g. Nordic Master).
Her areas of interest and expertise are working life research, integration of RDI with teaching and working life skills.
