Haaga Campus 50 years

Haaga Campus has specialized in hospitality management training for 50 years. The operation started with Hotelli- ja ravintolaopisto – a school of hotel and restaurant management – in 1969 to meet the demand for hospitality management professionals in the rapidly growing hotel and restaurant industry of the 1960’s. In 1991, the name of the school changed into Haaga Institute Polytechnic, because Haaga was the first educational institution who received the status of a polytechnic (later a university of applied sciences) in Finland.
