General knowledge about information systems and understanding of XML
Linked data means linking and publishing the data from different information sources by using web technologies so, that the data can be used and understand by the human beings and computers. Data of the public sector published openly in open standard format and linked in a relevant data increases the value of information and creates possibilities for innovative applications and new entrepreneurship.
Learning outcomes are understanding of the semantic web technology, the linked and open information models and their present and future applications.
