- Designing and Developing Applications for z/OS
- Using Programming Languages on z/OS
- Compiling and Binding a Program on z/OS
- z/OS System Programming
- Security on z/OS
- Networking on z/OS
Cooperation with the business community
The course will be held with IBM and it is supervised by companies that are mainframe users. Also some work opportunities are available for the prominent students. This course is based on the corse text from IBM “An Introduction to the Mainframe: z/OS Basics”. After the course student can take the IBM System z Mastery Test.
Teaching and learning methods
In each module first the theory is introduced by the lecturer and after that there are some excersizes done on the mainframe computer
