School of Vocational Teacher Education

The HAAGA-HELIA School of Vocational Teacher Education is one of the five vocational teacher education schools in Finland. HAAGA-HELIA arranges teacher education for university of applied sciences, vocational colleges, adult education organisations and professional training companies. We emphasize research, development and quality in our work.

In additional to our basic teacher programme, we offer training packages to training societies, school management, teachers and the business community, both short and long in duration. We also assist learning institutes in the adoption and development of new operating practices. The point of departure for these activities is that our services meet the demands of the commissioning party and participants. We also consult learning institutes in the formulation of teaching plans, the utilisation of new teaching methods as well as the development of quality systems.
