HAAGA-HELIA Vocational Teacher Education and Korea’s Chungnam National University, College of Education have signed a cooperation agreement in the area of vocational teacher education.  The agreement targets the development of vocational teacher education in Finland and Korea.

The cooperation will commence with a visit by 40 teachers from Chungnam National University to HAAGA-HELIA for a one-week training period. The visit will include learning about the teaching organised by Omnia Vocational College and Helsinki Business College. The Korean teachers will be at HAAGA-HELIA from Monday, 31 January until Thursday, 3 February.

The cooperation agreement was signed on 17 January by HAAGA-HELIA’s President Ritva Laakso-Manninen, Director Jari Laukia and Chungnam’s Associate Professor Byung-Wook Lee (also in the photo interpreter Dae Jin Hwang).
