HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences and ICT-institute Foundation have organized a writing competition in order to better understand the point of view of the younger generation on the development of the information and communication technology in society. Our aim is to find important subjects as well as to listen to the silent signals that might emerge as trends in the future.

The material received in the competition will be stored into a database for further studies and curricula development. It is also possible that some of the material will be published. For publishing purposes, we will request for the permission from the writer.

The writer can choose the point of view he/she wishes. The text can be written in free form and it can be of any style. The jury, in their evaluation criteria, will take into account the creativity and logic of the text as well as the linguistic form and the style suitable for the subject matter at hand. The text can be written either in Finnish or English and it should not exceed 6000 marks. The texts will be returned to https://digiumenterprise.com/answer/?sid=676921&chk=9UCE4B24

The jury will include the representatives of HAAGA-HELIA UAS and ICT-institute Foundation. The winners will be announced in the 30th Anniversary of Tieke on 11 November 2011.
