CIMO Scholarships
CIMO Scholarships targeted for post-master’s level studies
The Centre for International Mobility CIMO runs several scholarship programmes for post-Master’s level study and research at Finnish universities. There are basically two different types of scholarships: host fellowships, which are applied for by the university department on behalf of a student, and individual scholarships applied for by the students themselves.
Currently, CIMO offers the following scholarship programmes:
• CIMO Fellowships
• CIMO India Fellowships
• Finnish Government Scholarship Pool
• Scholarships for Finnish Studies and research
CIMO Fellowship and CIMO India Fellowship (host fellowships)
The CIMO Fellowship programme is open to young researchers from all countries and academic fields who have completed their Master’s degrees (excluding post-doctorate applicants). The CIMO India Fellowship programme is intended for post-Master’s level students from India to Finland.
Finnish Government Scholarship Pool (individual scholarships)
The Finnish Government offers scholarships for post-Master’s level studies, research and teaching at a higher education institution in Finland. The scholarships are based on cultural agreements or similar arrangements between Finland and a number of countries.
