International Activity aims to develop the quality and effectiveness of Vocational Teacher Education. HAAGA-HELIA School of Vocational Teacher Education supports internationalization by providing an English teacher education programme, and by offering further education programmes and consulting activities and research and development activities for institutions and work organizations. In addition, it organizes opportunities to student and staff exchange.

Exchange Students
International students can apply to School of Vocational Teacher Education as exchange students, and complete a part of their teacher education studies in Finland.

Teacher students in the School of Vocational Teacher Education can complete part of their studies in an international exchange. The exchange can be part of either the School of Vocational Teacher Education, one’s own educational institute or an exchange the student has personally arranged. The exchange is to be agreed according to the Personal Development Plan and with the Director of the School of Vocational Teacher Education on the basis of an application.

Staff Mobility
HAAGA-HELIA School of Vocational Teacher Education supports the internationalization of its staff by giving opportunities to teacher and staff exchanges and to participation in different conferences and seminars around the world.

Vocational Teacher Education in English
The HAAGA-HELIA Vocational Teacher Education Programme in English is recommended for students who are not proficient in Finnish. Read more.
