Further education is an essential part of developing the professional skills of teachers. The aim and objective of our further education is also to develop pedagogical leadership and educational organizations. We offer further education programmes for teachers and consulting activities for institutions and work organizations. We design and execute these activities together with our customers and partners.

TRAINING PROVISION

International Vocational Teacher Education with a Finnish Touch

Tailor-made International Vocational Teacher Education with a Finnish Touch is a further education programme (60 credit points) in English, which we offer for students abroad. Also separate in-service training modules of 12-18 credit points can be bought from the programme. E-learning methods are widely used in this programme.  See the brochure here.  The programme is subject to a charge. Please note that the program is carried out online, thus attending this program doesn't give eligibility for a study visa to Finland.  

Application period to the IVTE-program is Feb 18th to April 5th 2013.

KUKO Intercultural Trainings for Higher Education Staff

KUKO intercultural staff trainings develop the skills of higher education staff to operate succesfully in a multicultural environment. The trainings complement HEI's inhouse trainings. There are trainings tailored specifically for teaching staff, front desk staff and management. Also culture/country specific trainings will be organised, such as "Working with Finns" ja "Working with Chinese".
