Leading Passion - How to Create a Culture of Engagement?

The PASSION project aims at increasing the capabilities of Finnish companies to lead their employees’ passion at work, to create cultures of engagement, and to enhance their competitiveness in the post-industrial era. Building on the research findings of work engagement, passion at work, self-determination theory and practice theory, the interdisciplinary research consortium of the PASSION project conducts qualitative and comparative research on the attitudes of young generations towards work, best leadership practices of new ways of working, and creates new research-based tools for Finnish companies to create, maintain and nourish collaborative cultures of engagement.

The project will provide organizations with online tools for cultural assessment and recruitment. In addition, the project will publish a practically oriented new book for leading passion at work which also includes leadership recommendations. Moreover, the PASSION project will produce short video case studies to be used as training material in leadership education and disseminate project results both in the academic and business forums.
