Haaga-Helia UAS and Beverage Partners Finland signed partnership agreement in order to enhance developement projects within the hospitality business

Beverage Partners Finland Ltd is a company importing high quality alcoholic beverages such as Campari and Jägermeister. The company also owns several vineyards around the world. Beverage Partners, founded in 1999, is known for being agile and supportive of education and believes in building long term customer relations and partnerships.

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management education -programme in Haaga has for some time been looking for a suitable partner for the import of alcoholic beverages and Beverages Partners Finland is the ideal partner due to their many good qualities. The company has several Haaga alumni working as their specialists and they have been successfully cooperating for several years. 

Haaga-Helia UAS and Beverage Partners Finland Oy signed the partnership agreement on 30 October, and present were Beverage Partners Finland’s Managing Director Patrick Jones, The president of Haaga-Helia UAS Teemu Kokko and lecturer Jouko Mykkänen from the Haaga campus. The Partner agreement is part of the successful Place to Be concept at the Haaga Campus and will bring cooperation especially in the Hospitality management development projects. 

The partnership will deepen the already existing cooperation

Haaga-Helia and Beverage Partners Finland have been cooperation for a few years already.

The Bachelor of Hospitality Management education programme in Haaga has been offering Beverages Partners Finland excellent opportunities for communicating about their products for example during different events and student’s vine clubs such as Vinstituutti. In return, Beverage Partners Finland very positive experiences from participating in different learning projects. The company has offered for example specialist knowledge to students wanting to improve their bar and cocktail making skills on different courses at the Haaga campus as well as at their own bar premises.

Beverage Partners Finland is also, for the second year, part of the 3UAS Wine Importing Business -path.

Building future relationships with the hospitality business specialists and decisionmakers

Beverage Partners Finland is hoping to improve its business and at an early stage, build relationships with the Hospitality business specialists and decisionmakers. They are also interested in new openings and development projects within the field, especially in projects and thesis work related to marketing and brands.  

Haaga-Helia is interested in continuing the cooperation on several levels and through different events and learning projects, bringing out the company’s expertise and development projects. According to Mr Mykkänen:  Haaga-Helia is bustling with positive action and will definitely bring productive cooperation in many directions. 

Beverage Partners Finland has their own branded classroom at the Haaga campus (room A329), which is visually representing the company and brings out their brands in a stylish manner.
