The studies will be kicked off on the Orientation Days (8-11 January 2019), starting on Tuesday 8 January 2019 at 9.00a.m. You will first have your original certificates verified at Pasila Campus, Room 1003 (Ratapihantie 13, 00520 Helsinki). The programme for the Orientation Days will be found on this page. Attendance on the orientation days is compulsory.
You will receive important information about the studies. Therefore the attendance on the Orientation Days is compulsory. In case you cannot participate in the Orientation Days, please contact BITE academic advisor Ms. Riitta Blomster: riitta.blomster(at)haaga-helia.fi
You must present the following documents on the very first Orientation Day Tuesday 8 January 2019:
- Original school certificates and original official translations you used when applying (if you applied with your Matriculation Examination completed in Finland in 1990 or after, you do not need to submit the certificates at all).
- Original type A or P resident permit card, if any.
The original certificates will then be compared with the copies you have sent us before. Kindly note that if the documents are in a language other than English, Finnish or Swedish, you must also present an authorized, original translation of the diplomas and transcripts. The university will withdraw the admission if the student has given false information.
