International Teacher Week
What?
International Teacher Week is a five-day event organised by International Services of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. The event is offered to Haaga-Helia's partner universities. The theme for International Teacher Week 2023 will be "Open doors to future careers".
The teacher week theme will holistically reflect on- what are the current trends in working life and entrepreneurship? What are the competencies needed by today's employees? How is this reflected in the light of ethics, responsibility and sustainability? The theme can be interpreted broadly and is intended for the bachelor level.
During the five days, teachers will be able to network, share experiences and best practices as well as meet our students and staff in a different academic and cultural context.
When?
Haaga-Helia Teacher Week is being organised for the very first time. The International Teacher Week will be organised from 2 to 6 October 2023 in Finland.

For whom?
The event is only for teachers of Haaga-Helia partner universities. Participation is free of charge. In the the program below you will find the list of our competence areas looking for lectures.
The event has a limited number of participants. After the application period has ended we will process all applications and inform the selected participants by the end of May.
