Only a student who is registered in another Finnish UAS and has a valid study right may be admitted as a transfer student. The applicant must have been registered as attending student at the initial UAS for a minimum of one semester.

A student may transfer to complete the same degree or degree title in the same or corresponding degree programme if the programme includes available seats. The applicant must have enough study time left in order to be able to complete the Degree Programme at HAAGA-HELIA - University of Applied Sciences. The number of completed ects credits will also be considered. The selection process may include an interview.

The transfer student may transfer his or her study right to HAAGA-HELIA UAS, in which case the student must resign from the initial UAS. The student must present a notice of resignation from the initial UAS by the given deadline. The transfer student must register as attending during his or her first semester.

Transfer application period for full-time programmes starting in Autumn 2012 and conducted in English language is 9 January - 14 February 2012.
Transfer application period for adult external or evening programmes starting in Autumn 2012 and conducted in English language is 13 February - 30 March 2012.
Transfer application period for master's degree programmes starting in Autumn 2012 and conducted in English language is 13 February - 30 March 2012.

Application form is available during the application period mentioned and should be printed and duly filled in. Enclose with the application an officially signed and stamped transcript of records, study certificate and copies of school certificates.
