Applying to a degree programme

Once you have completed a minimum of 60 ECTS of studies in the Open UAS in any given degree programme, you can apply to the programme as an adult student (if you started in Helia before 1 January 2007, 50 ECTS is sufficient). Only those open UAS studies that have been completed at HAAGA-HELIA or the former Haaga or Helia are eligible.

Students are admitted to HAAGA-HELIA on the basis of earlier studies. There is no entrance exam. It is possible, however, that applicants are invited for an interview. Interviews are either pass/fail. An applicant that fails his or her interview cannot be admitted. If there are more applicants than openings, students are admitted on the basis of earlier study success, taking into account the number credits earned and grades received.

You are to submit your application within the application period. In 2010, the application period is from 15 February -31 March and from 13 September - 15 October.

• Degree Programme in International Business (Pasila campus)
• Degree Programme for Multilingual Management Assistants (Pasila campus, daytime studies)
• Degree Programme in Business Information Technology (Pasila campus, daytime studies)
