Codes in the timetable
VIR = Virtual/online course. Some of the online courses do not have any contact lessons and therefore there is no timetable in the course list. The lecturers of the online courses will contact the enrolled students via e-mail when the course begins.
INT= Intensive course. These courses are more intensive than normal courses and they have a special timetable.

Please note that if you are a student of Porvoo campus, you can only select courses from Porvoo, since the distance to Helsinki is 50km.

SPECIAL COURSES

Activity Holidays in Finland - 3 ECTS

The course will familiarise the student with operators of active and special interest holidays and their products focusing mainly on the Finnish market. Activity holidays are popular among holidaymakers and bundling travel products and activities is a growing sector in travel and tourism industry. In these studies students will learn different kind of sports, activities in the nature, the equipment required and security regulations.

On the course there will be different kind of sport and other activities introduced.

Also there will be cooperation with local enterprises in Porvoo area and so there is a possibility to try some of the activities during the course (up to season / a fee might apply).
