Exchange students of HAAGA-HELIA Helsinki can select courses from several campuses in Helsinki, according to their field of study (see the table below).

However it is important to take into account the distance between various campuses in Helsinki. Make sure that you have enough time to move from one campus to another, if you have courses on several campuses the same day.

COURSE LISTS


Course timetables for the autumn 2012 have been published: Courses autumn 2012  -> Excel-timetable of Helsinki campuses.
Courses available for exchange students are marked in the timetable with an EXCH code in column C. Exchange students can only select courses with the EXCH code. All courses marked with the EXCH code are held in English.

Course contents are available on each degree programme's website. Search for the course description by entering the name of the course into the search-tool available at the HAAGA-HELIA main website: http://www.haaga-helia.fi/en.

Codes in the course lists
VIR = Virtual/online course. Some of the online courses do not have any contact lessons and therefore there is no timetable in the course list. The lecturers of the online courses will contact the enrolled students via e-mail when the course begins.
INT= Intensive course. These courses are more intensive than normal courses and they have a special timetable.

 

SPECIAL COURSES

 

The Finnish Business Administration programme has one module in English: Business Environment. This module is warmly recommended for business students that are insecure regarding their English language skills. The module includes four courses: International Business, Cross-Cultural Management, International Economics and English for International Business. You can choose the whole module or separate courses. The module is offered on Malmi and Vallila campuses and the timetables for these courses will be available in December.
