The BIG project (2017-2019) focuses on the utilisation of big data in B2B markets and creating new business from it. It combines data-centric and business driven aspects.

BIG has a multidisciplinary team, consisting of researchers in the fields of big data, marketing and innovation, and utilises qualitative, quantitative, experimental and participative research methods and approaches.

BIG increases the knowledge on the use of big data in new digital business creation and enhances the companies’ capabilities to identify new local and international B2B business opportunities

Target market and users

The results will support Finnish companies in developing their sales strategies and offerings both through traditional and digital channels, and consequently save on costs and increase revenues.
